Marvin Lee Eaton

April 10, 1954 - April 5, 2022

OBITUARY Marvin Lee Eaton of St. Clair, MO departed this life in Washington, MO on April 5, 2022, having reached the age of sixty-seven years, eleven months and twenty-six days. Marvin was born in St. Louis, MO on April 10, 1954, son of Alva Lee Eaton and Edna Louise Miller nee Nash. Marvin is survived by two sisters, Riva Turner and husband, Jimmy, of Union, MO and Becky Eaton of St. Clair, MO; by his nephews, Edwin Crider and significant other, Mary, of Union, MO, Timothy Hawkins and wife, Sondra, of St. Clair, MO and Dylan Hawkins of Girdwood, AK; by his niece, Marilyn Maxwell and her husband, J.R., of Cedar Hill, MO; by great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Alva Eaton and Edna Miller; and by one sister, infant Janice Sue Eaton. During his working career he was employed by Gundaker Realty in St. Louis, MO as a realtor for many years. He was also a member of the National Realtor’s Association in St. Louis, MO. Marvin loved to play bingo and bowl. He had been a member of a league and had played in bowling tournaments. He enjoyed travelling, especially to the ocean and had been just about everywhere. Although he had no children of his own he loved his nieces and nephews as if they were his own. A kind and loving brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him. A private committal will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation. The family of Marvin Lee Eaton was served by Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO.
