OBITUARY Deborah Gayle Frossard of Washington, MO departed this life in Washington on January 31, 2022, having reached the age of sixty-four years and eight days. Deborah was born in DeSoto, MO on January 23, 1958, daughter of Delbert Erwin Lewis, Sr. and Grace Mary Lewis nee DeClue. On November 1, 1975 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Lloyd Frossard and four children came to bless this union. Deborah is survived by her husband, Ken Frossard of Washington, MO; by three children, Melissa Ashman and husband, Bryan, of Wildwood, MO, Kenny Frossard and wife, Jamie, of St. Clair, MO and Tessa Frossard of Washington, MO; by one brother, Delbert Lewis, Jr. and wife, Jeanine, of St. Clair, MO; by three sisters, Jackie Bean of Washington, MO, Barb Rhoads of Sullivan, MO and Karen Hefele and husband, Greg, of Fenton, MO; by her sister-in-law, Clara Zinselmeier of St. Louis, MO; by her brother-in-law, Daniel Frossard and wife, Bernice, of Washington, MO; by five grandchildren with one on the way, two great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Delbert, Sr. and Grace Lewis; by her daughter, Crystal Gayle Frossard; by one brother, William Lewis; and by two sisters, Paula “Jean” Floyd and Brenda Lewis. Deborah was a Christian and member of Bethel Baptist Church in Lonedell, MO. During most of her working career she was employed as a bus monitor in the Washington Public School District by First Student, serving the company for about twenty-five years. Deborah had a variety of interests throughout her life. In her younger years she would like to go fishing and bowling. She was very artistic and loved doing crafts. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting and playing cards. She loved to relax in the pool, work in the garden and if there was a snake in the yard, she’d find (or it would find her). She also loved to travel the country, especially to Yellowstone. What meant most to her was time spent with family. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will forever be cherished by them all. A kind and loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her. Memorial services were held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO with Rev. Ben Kingston officiating. A private committal will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Research Institute.
