Donna Marie "Punkey" Busse

OBITUARY Donna Marie Busse, known to some as Punkey, of St. Clair, MO departed this life in St. Louis, MO on Saturday, January 7, 2023, having reached the age of fifty-nine years, eleven months and twenty-six days. Donna was born in Sullivan, MO on January 12, 1963, daughter of Harry Edward Busse, Sr. and Eva Loretta Busse nee Leath. As a young woman she was blessed to have three children. Donna is survived by two children, Abby Parks and fiancé, Branden Ehlts, of St. Clair, MO and Silas Parks of Union, MO; by three brothers, Willard Busse of St. Clair, MO, Daniel Busse and wife, Lynette, of Sullivan, MO and Donald Busse of St. Clair, MO; by his sisters, Linda Busse and significant other, Dennis Gilbert, of Doolittle, MO, Sharon Meyer and husband, Mark, of Washington, MO and Karen Blum and husband, Ron, of St. Clair, MO; by her sister-in-law, Kathy Busse of St. Clair, MO; by her grandchildren, Emma and Jason Straatmann, both of St. Clair, MO; by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Harry, Sr. and Eva Busse; by her daughter, Casey Dix; and by two brothers, Gary Busse and Harry E. Busse, Jr. Donna was a Christian, believing in the Lord as her Savior and took great comfort in her relationship with Christ. She made caring for her home and family her mission in life and never tired of it. Donna simply loved being a mother and grandmother and loved taking care of her home. She enjoyed the outdoors and also enjoyed to travel. Donna was a friendly and outgoing person that loved being around family and friends. The love she shared with them and the many precious memories they created will forever be cherished by them all. A kind and loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, niece, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Anaconda Community Cemetery in St. Clair, MO. Memorials may be made to the family.
