Geraldine Edith Quesenberry nee St. Gemme
Geraldine Edith Quesenberry of Morrison, MO, formerly of Lonedell, MO, departed this life at her home on April 11, 2013, having reached the age of ninety years, ten months and twenty days. Geraldine was born in Leadington, MO, on May 22, 1922, daughter of Sidney Sylvester St. Gemme and May Ella St. Gemme nee Benham. On April 8, 1944, she was united in marriage to Robert Eugene Quesenberry and three children came to bless this union.
Geraldine is survived by her children, Dale Quesenberry and wife, Louise, of Affton, MO, Dan Quesenberry and wife, Cathy, of Morrison, MO and Dwayne Quesenberry and wife, Sonja, of St. Louis, MO; by ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, one niece, one great-niece, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and May St. Gemme; by her husband, Robert Quesenberry; by her brother, Harold St. Gemme; and by her infant sister, Fay St. Gemme.
Geraldine was a Christian of the Baptist faith believing in the Lord as her Savior. For most of her working career she was a secretary for an auto body shop in St. Louis, MO. Geraldine had a variety of interests throughout her life, including gardening and raising flowers. During her younger years, she loved to go bowling and in more recent years, enjoyed reading. What meant most to Geraldine was caring for her home and family. Her children and grandchildren held a very special place in her heart, as she did in theirs. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will forever be remembered by them all.
A kind and loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Committal services were held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 15, 2013 at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Louis, MO, with the Rev. Jim Watson officiating. The family of Geraldine Quesenberry entrusted the services of their loved one to Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO.
