Obituary
Harold Roger Coffman, known to all as Roger, of St. Clair, MO departed this life in Creve Coeur, MO on April 22, 2019, having reached the age of sixty-six years, seven months and three days. Roger was born in St. Louis, MO on September 19, 1952, son of Herbert Harold Coffman and Mary Lee Coffman nee Moses. Over forty years ago he was united in marriage to Cassie Lee Gough and three children came to bless this union.

Roger is survived by his wife, Cassie Coffman, of St. Clair, MO; by two sons, Bill Coffman and wife, Brenda, of Lake Ozark, MO and Allen Coffman and wife, Robin, of Eldon, MO; by his brothers, Lynn Coffman and wife, Phyllis, of Union, MO and Keith Coffman of Cherryville, MO; by his sisters, Mary Sue Coffman of Ozark, MO and Marleen Barnett of Hillsboro, MO; by nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, with one on the way, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Mary Coffman; and by his daughter, Sandy Brown.

Roger was a Christian, believing in the Lord as his Savior. He was employed as a supervisor at Parway-Tryson in St. Clair, MO, serving the company for many years. He loved spending time outdoors fishing and hunting, and also watching hunting and fishing shows on television. Roger was a true craftsman that had a passion for building things, especially the deck on his home. He truly enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the VFW. What meant most to him was time spent with family. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will live on in their hearts forever.

A kind and loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great and great-great-uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial visitation was held from 2:00 to 4:00 PM Saturday, April 27, 2019 at VFW Post 2482, 1087 N. Service Road West, St. Clair, MO 63077. A celebration of life will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at VFW Post 2482 (address above). A private committal will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family.
