Obituary
OBITUARY

Judy Polston of St. Clair, MO, departed this life at her home, surrounded by the love of her family, on November 18, 2017, having reached the age of seventy years, four months and one day. Judy was born in Richwoods, MO, on July 17, 1947, daughter of Clyde Almo and Alberta Vira Almo nee Armbruster. As a young woman she was blessed to have two children.

Judy is survived by her children, Mike Marcee and wife, Heather, of Lonedell, MO, and Rhonda Winkle and husband, Dennis, of Festus, MO; by four grandchildren, Amber Woodcock of Bourbon, MO, Lauren Quesenberry of DeSoto, MO, and Krista and Nikki Bostick of Bourbon; by one brother, Rev. Bobby Almo of Sullivan, MO; by one sister, Rethea Davidson and husband, John, of Lake of the Ozarks, MO; by one sister-in-law, Geraldine Armbruster of Ste. Genevieve, MO; by four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Alberta Almo, and by two brothers, Harold and Johnny Almo.

Judy was a Christian, believing in the Lord as her Savior. During her working career she was employed as a housekeeper at Best Western Motel for about twenty years. In her younger years she enjoyed riding horses. She also loved to go camping and have cook-outs, especially with family. What meant most to her was time spent with family. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy and held a very special place in her heart, just as she did in their hearts.

A devoted and loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great and great-great-aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial visitation was held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Friday, December 1, 2017 at Calvey Baptist Church, 930 Calvey Church Road, Robertsville, MO 63072. Memorial services were held at the church at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Bobby Almo officiating. A private committal will take place at a later date. The family of Judy Polston entrusted the care of their loved one to Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair, MO.
