Obituary
OBITUARY

Pamela Ann Barbay, known to all as Pam, of Lonedell, MO, departed this life at her home, on July 10, 2017, having reached the age of fifty four years, eight months and twenty-eight days. Pam was born in St. Louis, MO, on October 12, 1962, daughter of Kenneth Listenberger and Alberta Louise Listenberger nee Gehrlein. On February 25, 1994, she was united in marriage to Mark Stephen Barbay and two sons came to bless this union.

Pam is survived by her husband, Mark S. Barbay of Lonedell, MO; by her sons, Mark J. Barbay and fiancée, Colleen Sims, of St. Clair, MO and Matthew Barbay and girlfriend, Ashlee Sumpter, of Lonedell; by her parents-in-law, Dorothy and Joseph Barbay of St. Louis, MO; by her sister, Kim Butler of Maricopa, AZ; by her brothers-in-law, Michael Barbay and wife Rebecca, of St. Louis and Richard Barbay of St. Louis; by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousin and many friends.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Alberta Listenberger.

Pam was a Christian, having been raised and Baptized in the Catholic faith. As a young woman she became a Certified Nurses' Assistant and had worked in the nursing home industry. She also cleaned houses for a few years. As she had children of her own, she made caring for her sons and home her first priority. She was always there to cheer them on as they participated in sports and other school events. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and going mudding. She had a fondness for old cars and hotrods and enjoyed listening to all types of music.

Collecting angel memorabilia was another of her hobbies. Nothing made her happier than the time spent with her husband and sons and many wonderful memories were created.

A devoted and loving wife, mother, daughter-in-law, sister, sister-in-law, niece, aunt, cousin and friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 15, 2017, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO, with the Rev. Charles Keith officiating. Interment was in the Luebbering Citizens Community Cemetery in Grubville, MO. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
