OBITUARY

Wilma Faye Hutchison of St. Clair, MO, departed this life in Washington, MO, surrounded by the love of her family, on June 7, 2017, having reached the age of seventy-five years and one day. Wilma was born in Crittenden, KY, on June 6, 1942, daughter of Harvey Bird Hinchee and Viola Green Hinchee nee Springer. On December 31, 1960, she was united in marriage to James Floyd Hutchison and seven children came to bless this union.

Wilma is survived by three sons, James F. Hutchison, JR. of Searcy, AR, Tim A. Hutchison and wife, Jackie, of St. Clair, MO and Michael A. Hutchison of St. Louis, MO; by four daughters, Mary F. Whited and husband, Don, of St. Clair, Sherrie Hamer and husband, Mike, of Union, MO, Carrie L. Pikal and husband, Chad, of Dittmer, MO and Tressa A. Koerner and husband, Gene, of Marion, KY; by eighteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Viola Hinchee; by her husband, James F. Hutchison, Sr.; by one brother, Clyde Hinchee and by one sister, Linda Powell.

Wilma was a Christian and past member of the Parkway Church of the Nazarene in St. Clair, MO. As a young woman she was employed as a machine operator at International Shoe company in St. Clair, MO. Her first priority had always been caring for her home and family and she enjoyed helping to raise her grandchildren. She had enjoyed many hobbies and interests during her life, including doing ceramics. Family fishing trips was another of her favorite pastimes. In recent years, she enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. Wilma keen sense of humor and kind personality will be missed dearly by her family.

A devoted and loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO. Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home. Private entombment will take place at the Haven of Rest Mausoleum at Crestview Memorial Park, St. Clair, MO.
